First let me very briefly answer the questions.
You are welcomed to post comments on this site.
1. Why was this site created? From my own views the purpose of the website is
four-fold:
(a) To encourage team work through genuine collaboration and consultation with
all the Koare Konda kids. This means that no Koare Konda Kid is left
behind in anything. We all need to contribute ideas, value each other's ideas
and perspectives and agree on issues for common good for the benefit of ALL
Koare Konda Kids. Every Koare Konda Kid is valued and given special place in
Koare through this website.
(b) To expose and made aware of Koare Konda Kids' way of life which includes
their struggles so that the wider world can be made aware of Koare itself, the
basic government service provisions, and their future dreams and
aspirations. Through this website others can see the differeces between
stone-age style of living and the so-called economically driven contemporary
Koare. Do we have basic government services to sustain life?
(c) To lead other Koare Konda Kids who are still in their villages and in
schools to work hard as nothing is too hard to achieve. This is to say that
people who work hard eat to live and people who are lazy live to eat.
(d) To chart our future dreams and aspirations on how to improve Koare and to
have our own developed and agreed models to work towards developing Koare
sub-district. No one will come and do it for us as they have not done it. Our
Koare children's future is in the hands of the current Koares now so what
difference can you make to improve Koare.
3. What is Koare Konda? The people from Koare is better known by the name
"Koare Konda". The name actually has it origins from the Konda banana tree
which was traditionally valued, revered, and was venerated as an idol of fame,
importance and shared effort where everyone had to share when eaten. The
traditional significance of the Konda banana tree is that it was usually planted
at the backyard right in the middle of the village. Often during the
traditional times the seed/bunch is either one, two or three the most, and they
were very big in side. No other place in the Ialibu/Pangia electorate or
Kagua/Erave electorate had ever seen a Konda fruit like that. This special
Konda was only found in Koare valley. That's why the name Koare Konda is used
as a unique means to indentify and signify people who come from Koare valley.
Even in schhools, from the earliest school days to the present, children who
come from Koare are always called by the name "Koare Konda Kids", meaning
children who come from Koare have a signifcance attached to the famous Konda
banana tree.
4. Where is Koare? The details of where Koare is located is already provided
in the website so read on to identify where Koare is actually located.
5. How do people live in this area? Peope in Koare lead a traditional life
style with gradual inclusion of western approaches of doing things such as the
court system, business through small trade stores etc.
6. How many schools in area? Details of school are provided in the website as
well.
I have just come to realise that only few of us are trying our best to
contribute ideas. If you do have some ideas about Koare please do contribute as
no one will come and do it for us. You and I are the ones to take this
leadership role.

2. Why is it called Koare Konda Kids' Community Forum?
Well it is called "Koare Konda Kids' Community Forum" due to several reasons.
First, the word "community" entails a very significant meaning towards its use
and purpose. Community in practical terms entail team work, working together,
eating together, deciding together, forming organisations that will benefit
everyone and not one. It is about ALL as oppposed to an individual based
ownership. Forum is where everyone discusses issues and come up with
alternatives and suggestions. Forum is where you express your feelings, views,
ideas and mind so that others can also respond accordingly.
