School Materials for Koare High School

Brian,

Thanks for letting us know about the school materials worth K3 million .  Gosh this is huge money to transform Koare for good.  That means the entire Koare High Schoool will be completed and transformed to a standard comparable to other schools anywhere in PNG.  This is great news but I hope this is not another propaganda for point scoring.  Remember, Brian put up a news article about Koare roads being sealed through the so-called ADB project and a 15-seater bus able to go and turn at Koare market.  I did a critque on this and Brian's article and my article are still on the Koare Konda Kids' Community Forum website.  I am just hoping that the promised ADB project materialises in due time.

If the K3 million school project is true why don't the people/person responsible take responsibility in taking the schools materials right to Koare through other means.  we have few landcruisers from Koare operating, at least two at the moment owned by Koare guys.  make use of these cars as they are able to go through through the bad road conditions.  The school materials can be dropeed off at seka tea and the people from Koare can carry them on their shoulders all the way to Koare station, nothing wrong with this arrangement.  We don't have to wait for the so-called MP Peter O'Neil to provide us with a dyna truck as he will not do it on time.  He has PNG to take care of and Koare is one rural isolated back yard which he does not even care.  who is leading to distribute the schools materials?  This person should make sure the school materials reach Koare from wherever it is coming from.  Tell people not to make empty promises and make the Koare people live with high unfulfilled expectations and look stupid.  The ADB Project is one of them and I hope the K3 million school supply project is not another?

I can put up a notice on the Koare website this week for help but I have to know and confirm whether this is real.  Who do I contact to confirm this?  Please send me this person's phone number so I call and confirm.  Otherwise I don't want to put up a notice just for nothing, something that does not even exist.

Kind regards.
