Good Day, Thank you Brian, Bernard, John, Percy, Nick and rest of you contributing most effective ideas and thoughts towards our Association to make KDA successful . Common understanding must prevail in everyone’s mindset as we go alone with this discussions and careful in what we inserts as few might concluded so early with redundant oldies where the village boys still stuck in that so called tug of war. Leave the cowboys and their politics at home. We are already started off with awareness and polished them up and we can still make sure to put them on the track.
One old DVD Actor Rocky called John the Rambo in his third album representing USA and challenged ony Russia’s Super Iron Man on Worlds Heavy Weight Championship title in Russia as do or die game in the Boxing Ring and at last Rambo fulfilled his dream. He spoke his last words to the audience and I can remember those powerful message and today still trigger in my mind, saying that,
“Though we have our differences in our regions, boundaries and cultures, and most of you are not happy with me for winning this Championship Title, as you are not thought for, but you can be happy....... If I can change.......... You can change ...... everyone can change to challenge to be a new person from where you are, what you are”.
Koare Konda Kids, this is the first time of its kind as we regroup in contributing ideas, thoughts and owner up to be in one basket to make our dreams come true in formation of this Association. No one can opposed the ideas saying no to progress the thing rolling. We are all in one boat and ready to sail on the rough sea so what else do we need, Skipper is the key person.
My suggesting, let’s keep those appointed interim committees can go ahead and open the account for association, Let’s forget about Forum or office barriers etc, later we will organise.
Let’s not waste time but you guys can communicate through email and each person can pick up one proposal each as Brian is doing for Koare Health Centre, somebody can do on Roads, Bridges, School. Water supply or mini hydro from Kawili , Communications’ etc,. Then when we call the forum, bring all those written submissions to do presentations before everyone agrees and posted to the donor agencies.

Thanks for the serious contribution and I agree what you mention below. Also for organizational information, can some one do up a basic structure (In addition to propositions by John) for the Association so that we can have some direction into positions approximately required and some rough Calender to cater for events related as we go. I believe this would than help a lot.
If no one is willing, I can do up a rough structure with events ahead if this is ok with you all. I hope John and you all will be able to discuss more insight into a structure that fits well and serves its’ purpose for our society with full representation of our villages not necessarily including sub/sub villages unless we all agree. If things go well the way we are doing now we can also have various committee members for various sectors including, education, health, roads, business, law & order, church & etc so that we will have a structure that provide avenue to discuss various issues and with the representation of our villages into the association it will enables passing of information to the masses of our villages.
The organisation part will be mammoth so we need everyone to getting their thinking caps on to how best the organisation KDA can represent the people and its’ purpose as a development vehicle that also can replace the Governments’ neglected development system.

Hi All
I have been following the email discussion of the KDA and I must say I am very impressed with the comments and contribuitions made. I think some of our brothers may not be on email right now so you have seen no contribution. I thank you all, especially Uncle Tony, John and Percy. I just want to make a comment in relation to the appointment by John of some of us as interim committee members.
The way I see it, the interim committee's job is to:
1) when Tony has finished with the registration etc, he will hand over to this committee.
2) this committee will open bank account
3) this committee will kick start the membership. Once we have enough members, than we can have first meeting of all members, they will elect the office bearers.
4) the committee will look at the Constitution that has been filed, and see whether any changes are needed
(there may be other things this committee can do in the interim)
We can not expect Tony to do this for us. He's done more than enough already.
The way to elect the committee and office bearers are stated in the Constitution. I do not believe a Forum is the place to elect the office bearers, the members of the KDA should decide (I think that's what the Constitution says, and of course we can change the constitution). Having a forum elect office bearers will completely defeat the purpose of the KDA (which is to keep politics and village differences out of the KDA).
Personally, I am happy to serve on the interim committee. This committee will have to meet a couple of times, and at short notice. Therefore it is logical that only people in POM should kickstart this. Remember that serving on the KDA committee is without payment. Any committee member who wants to attend committee meetings will have to pay your own expenses to attend (including airfares and accommodation). If anyone is willing to make this sacrifice, then let everyone know so that you can be included in the executive committee.
If everyone is in agreement, then those of us whose names have been put forward will start the meetings to do the above listed things. If anyone living in POM intends to take part, I suggest we include them, but I think this committee should not exceed 8 people.
