1.1 The name shall be called "Koare Rural Development Association" and it covers the entire Kuare Local Level Government. The objectives for which the "Koare Rural Development Association" is established are:
a) To promote, represent and protect interests of the Koare Community over any such matters in regards to basic services such as education, health, roads & capital works, agriculture & nutrition, infrastructural development, law & order, clean water supply & sanitation, and community development & empowerment activities, among others.;
b) To promote, improve and educate all members of KOARE RURAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION in sustainable development best practices through appropriate training and empowerment provisions;
c) To encourage and promote economic empowerment and sustainable practices and avenues for greater participation by the members;
d) To foster equal participation in distribution of the Association's wealth and resources;
e) To encourage and promote private business activities at the district level and to support education and training that promote business activities in the Area through appropriate financial services, business literacy opportunities, and forming of cooperative societies by the members ;
f) To protect and represent interests of the Koare Community over any such matters in regards to land development issues, environment protection and sustainability issues through appropriate education and awareness;
g) To act as a recognized forum through which issues/problems happening in the Koare
area can be discussed and rectify using the correct and established government institutions with the members' support;
h) To provide a forum for contacts advice and discussions of questions of common interest and information service provisions;
b) To promote, improve and educate all members of KOARE RURAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION in sustainable development best practices through appropriate training and empowerment provisions;
c) To encourage and promote economic empowerment and sustainable practices and avenues for greater participation by the members;
d) To foster equal participation in distribution of the Association's wealth and resources;
e) To encourage and promote private business activities at the district level and to support education and training that promote business activities in the Area through appropriate financial services, business literacy opportunities, and forming of cooperative societies by the members ;
f) To protect and represent interests of the Koare Community over any such matters in regards to land development issues, environment protection and sustainability issues through appropriate education and awareness;
g) To act as a recognized forum through which issues/problems happening in the Koare
area can be discussed and rectify using the correct and established government institutions with the members' support;
h) To provide a forum for contacts advice and discussions of questions of common interest and information service provisions;
i) To promote and protect any activities related to arts/crafts and cultural heritage of the Koare Community whether it be for business or personal use and interest;
j) To encourage and promote best practices in conflict resolution and post conflict rehabilitation practices within the Kuare Local Level Government;
k) To solicit, seek and apply for Papua New Guinea donor funded projects that will benefit the Koare Community and implement such projects in a transparent, coherent and accountable approach as a credible institution which aspires for sustained rural development.
l) To encourage and promote any sports and recreation activities that will benefit the Koare Community in line with the provincial and national sports and recreation development programs and policies.
m) To encourage and educate the Koare Community about the best practices and principles of good governance, accountability and transparency which would foster corruption free and compliance oriented community as a sustainable process for development.
n) To foster genuine and sustainable youth development programs for the greater benefit of Koare Community which is in line with the provincial and national youth development programs and policies.
o) To encourage and promote conducive rural/urban linkages for better service provisions for the Koare Community;
p) To undertake trust or agency businesses which may seem directly or indirectly conducive and beneficial to any of the objectives of this Organization;
q) To do any or all of such things that are conducive and necessary to attain any or all of the above as may be decided upon by the Organization's Executive Committee and the General Meeting, from time to time;
r) Any other objectives the Executive considers from time to time to be in the best interest of the association, district and province as a whole;
s) To apply the profits (if any) or any other income in promoting its objectives;
t) To do all such things that are incidental and conducive to the attainment of the objects or any of them;
u) To prohibit the payment of any dividend or payment in the future of a dividend to its members.
